Three
Underexposed and dark art photograph of an abandoned and flooded railway tunnel, with discarded rubbish.

Down, towards the railway line, and two arches beneath. A basin of open water emerges from deep within them, stealing trees, grasses, railings - all now half-submerged. Debris drifts across the dark surface, accumulating into fragile rafts. Here, entropy had been set loose, softening edges and silting over purpose. A sign, once declaring the dangers of entering the tunnels, now hangs half-submerged against a gaping, open gate, obsolete.
