Pilgrimage

Traditionally, a pilgrimage involves traveling to some sort of sacred destination, a place of spiritual significance. 

This pilgrimage was to find the Hawthorn Brook beneath Birmingham's Spaghetti Junction. This "sacred destination" is described more fully in a section called Interchange, but here is some photography of the "long and arduous" journey.
