All Balaam Wood.
Balaam Wood is ancient woodland (pre 1600), oak and hazel, situated along the route of the River Rea. It's name possibly links to the biblical character Balaam who had a talking donkey, but Balaam became slang for donkeys or horses, so it may simply be woodland where these animals lived.
