All Holly Hill.
Holly Hill is one of the lesser hills in the ridge system south-west of Bimingham, the ridge known as the Lickey-Clent range. These hills form a geological spine, where the springs rising on the east of the peaks flow east to the Tame and Trent, and those emerging on the western rises of the hills flow West via the Salwarpe to the Severn.
The line of hills were likely outside of old Arden, but they would have acted as a vantage point to look across the wooded landscape and were likely used as borderland by tribal feet.
The carved wooden sculpture acts as a marker. It guards the entrance to Balaam's Wood Orchard and to Balaam's Wood further in, a surving pocket of ancient (pre-1600) woodland. But also, it marks the edge of Arden.
