For PechaKucha night, as part of Birmingham Heritage Week, I presented my lightning-fast talk on
Mythical Birmingham. It explored several poems about Birmingham which likened its artisans to classical beings and their work to the product of gods.
The Birmingham imagined in the eighteenth century was one of wonder and near alchemy!
